Turn your laptop lid into a chalkboard, write hipster slogans, annoy the whole coffee shop

I want this. I feel shame for wanting this:

DrawAttention’s Blackboard is a wipe clean chalkboard skin for your laptop’s lid. It works with chalk, neon dry-erase pens and opaque wet-erase pens.

It’s not actually made of slate but treated vinyl and the company promises it’s durable. I intend to get one and put that claim to the test.

DJI launches repair service for clumsy drone owners

While drone crash videos might be funny to watch, they aren’t as amusing for the owners of the devices.

Accidents are pretty common, not everyone is a skilled pilot from the get-go, so all the little bangs and mishaps can amount to a costly bill. So, to give drone owners peace of mind, DJI has launched a repair service.

DJI Care is available for people who already own a DJI drone as well as new purchasers. It is limited to the Phantom 3 and Inspire 1 ranges though.

The care packages are available in 6-month and 12-month plans, with prices starting at $99. There is a coverage cap on each plan though, so you still can’t be completely reckless.

The service is available to drone owners in the US, parts of Europe and Mainland China at launch.

Pebble Time’s iOS app is finally live in the App Store

Pebble’s new Time smartwatches may have started shipping out to backers a week ago , but iOS users hadn’t been able to their devices until today, as the app was unavailable in the App Store.

Fret no more, early backers; the Pebble Time’s iOS software is now live .

After users complained about not being able to download the new software, Pebble said it was being delayed due to Apple’s review process taking an abnormally long amount of time.

Pebble went so far as to ask its users to help voice their feedback to Apple to help get the app approved more quickly. As you might expect, some users complained it had something to do with the Apple Watch’s release, but whatever the reason for the delay, it’s now been resolved.
