Xiaomi is finally hitting the US and Europe with the launch of its online Miom store in a few days, but you still won’t be able to buy any of its phones.
The store will be available on June 1 in the US and June 2 in the UK, France and Germany. You’ll be able to purchase some of its accessories, including the Mi Power Bank, Mi Headphones and Mi Band.
There are two power banks available: a 10400 mAh battery that Xiaomi says can charge an iPhone 6 “at least” 3.5 times, and a slim 5000 mAh battery. These will cost you $15 and $10, respectively. The Mi Band is a simple activity tracker/pedometer which will set you back $15, while the Mi Headphones cost $80.
While phones would certainly be preferable, hopefully this is a step towards their future availability.
LG’s new wireless projector is about the size of your wallet
LG announced that it’s launching the Minibeam Nano, the company’s smallest and lightest projector to date. With its dimensions of 10 cm x 10 cm x 4 cm, the device is about the size of a typical wallet.
The Minibeam Nano can wirelessly connect to your smartphone to stream videos, movies and office documents. It also supports HDMI inputs and USB flash drives and offers up to two hours of playback time on a single battery charge.
Despite its tiny footprint, the Minibeam Nano can project an image up to 100 inches diagonally with a native resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. LG says its LED lamp will last 30,000 hours.
The device will be available starting this month across North America, Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.
LG hasn’t yet announced pricing for the Minibeam Nano.

Motorola announces the 5.7-inch Moto X Style, its latest flagship Android phone
At its global event today, Motorola announced its latest flagship Android phone, the third-generation Moto X Style.
As with all previous versions of the Moto X, the newest model will be as customizable as the last. Instead, this year’s focus is on more powerful specs; the 2015 model will sport a 5.7-inch screen with Quad HD display, a 21MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facer with flash. Unlike last year’s model, which touted a ring-shaped flash in the back, Motorola has gone with a more traditional dual LED flash placement below the lens.
The Moto X Style has a 1.8GHz hexa-core Snapdragon processor, 3GB of RAM and starts at 16GB storage, expandable up to 64GB. It’ll also come with a microSD slot, something that was formerly available on just Motorola’s lower-end models.
The device will run on Android Lollipop 5.1.1 – no bloatware or skins. Motorola calls this the “Pure Edition” phone, meaning it will come unlocked so you can use the phone on any US carrier’s LITE service.
Motorola says the device can replete up to 10 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes of charge – 50 percent faster than the Samsung Galaxy S6. That’s a 3,000maAh battery underneath, by the way.
The Moto X Style will cost $399 , available in September in the US. The Moto X Style will be available on Motorolaom, Amazon and Best Buy.
Alongside the Moto X Style, Motorola also announced the Moto G and Moto X Play .
