Amazon is currently selling FIFA 20 for £38, down from £50. It might not look like much, but FIFA 20 is still quite a new game, and so finding a discount this hefty is a rare thing. Better yet, if you’re a PC player, you can nab a digital download code for £33.

The latest installment of the long-running FIFA franchise improves upon its predecessor by introducing a brand new game-mode called EA Sports Volta. If you remember FIFA Street, this mode will no doubt be familiar: you’ll be taking part in three-to-five-a-side matches on any of 17 small pitches buried in urban environments around the world.
Volta will force you to learn a different kind of football; the kind that relies on fancy footwork and fast passing.
FIFA 20 also ditches the Journey in favour of a more traditional Career mode. You’ll become a manager again, and deal with everything that entails; from speaking with the press to managing wage expectations, football has never been more of a chore. This time around, though, your responses in the press room will have consequences, so watch what you say.
For those who just want to play against a mate, FIFA 20 retains the normal local and online multiplayer modes, with updated kits, players and leagues. Ultimate Team also makes a comeback, so you can build your dream squad with (almost) no limitations. Just don’t look too hard at Juventus.
If you’re stuck for Christmas present ideas for your football-mad teenager/partner, FIFA 20 is a safe bet. Given how expensive videogames usually are, you’d be mad not to take advantage of this offer while for as long as it lasts; there’s no telling how long that will be, so we urge you to get a move on.
