Thanks to Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event on 7 August, we finally saw the announcement of the Galaxy Note 10 series. While we learned a lot of important details during the event, we’re here to ask the most pressing question of all; what colours can we buy it in?
Wait, the Galaxy Note 10 was announced and we’re covering the colours? Yes, yes we are, so if you want to hear all that nonsense about release dates and models, you find that here . We’re here to get into the nitty-gritty of how you can customise the Note 10 to your heart’s content.

Well, that’s if your heart’s content is six separate colours across two different models. Depending on which version you buy – the Note 10 or Note 10 Plus - the phone can be bought in Aura Black, Aura White, Aura Pink, Aura Red, Aura Blue or the fancy-sounding Aura Glow.
Sadly, only two of these edgy shades are available in the UK – Aura Glow and Aura Black – but that doesn't mean we can't give you something to stare at wistfully. Six different colours means we have six different things to talk about, so let’s just jump in, starting with:
Aura Black
Simple and to the point, you know what you’re getting if you decide to go with a black phone. It’s the sort of choice that no-one will really question. Just don’t stare at it for too long. It’s been said that if you stare into the abyss for too long, it will eventually stare back. Well, it might just be your own reflection from the phone’s reflective sheen, but do you really want to take that chance?
You know what, we’ve changed our minds. Aura Black is just too dangerous. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

Aura White
From one shade to another, we now have the Galaxy Note 10 in a clean, simplistic white. Don’t let anyone know we told you this, but we heard that when designing the Aura White, the Samsung team used Bob Ross videos as reference material. If they could create a white, empty canvas that they felt Mr Ross would feel compelled to take a brush to, then they knew they had succeeded. It’s a tall order, but even I’m feeling the urge to whip out a paintbrush and create a masterpiece.
Aura Blue
This here’s an interesting one. Consulting personally with renowned Olympic diver Tom Daley, Mr Samsung (not to be confused with Mr Apple) asked Tom what colour he’d like to see on the new Galaxy Note 10. Perhaps rather predictably, Tom said “deep ocean blue”, leading to the creation of Aura Blue. It’s even been said that, when using diving boards at their local swimming pool, the phone’s creators actually aimed for the Note 10 Aura Blue rather than the pool itself. We can only hope they aimed for the deep end of the phone.
Aura Red
Okay, so you may have noticed I was being a tad facetious with that last one, so I’ll call it quits for the Aura Red (I can only describe a phone’s colour in so many ways). For this colour, Mr Samsung asked his team to travel to the middle of the Sahara desert to capture the feel of the blazing su- seriously, I’ll stop now.
Aura Pink
Know what? I lied. When the Note 10 designers refused to travel to the Sahara desert, Mr Samsung had to settle for a different idea. He wanted his customers to have an alternative to the Aura Red if they couldn’t hold the heat of the Sahara’s blazing sun in their hands, and so the Aura Pink was born. It was a compromise, admittedly, but one he was willing to make. As Mr Samsung allegedly told his team, “I’m stubborn, not unreasonable”.
Aura Glow
This is like when you combine all of the Infinity Stones, except you have to pay £899 and you don’t even get a glove. A shimmering blend of different colours, the Aura Glow and the power of the Infinity Stones were not meant to be held by mortal hands, so the fact that the fine folks over at Samsung managed to do so anyway is evidence of their commitment to us, the consumer. It’s also incredibly reflective, so if you wanna do that thing where you shine a light in someone’s eye by angling your phone like a mirror, then you will be practically unstoppable.
