After LG unveiled its flagship smartphone G2 in early August that subsequently went on sale in South Korea, consumers in US and Germany can finally get their hands on it this month.
The G2, which is somewhat of a fresh start for LG given that it does not have the Optimus branding, sports a 5.2-inch 1080p display, rear-mounted power and volume buttons, and Qualcomm’s new high-end Snapdragon 800 processor. LG said in August that it would be sold on “over 130 wireless carriers” in the next two months, including all four major US carriers and Three in the UK .
The LG G2 will be showcased at IFA 2013 starting September 6 in Berlin, Germany, the company says.

Sony focuses on ‘play’ this year as it announces Netflix 4K partnership and new 4K Handycam
At its CES press conference on Monday, Sony outlined “Play” as its theme this year as it develops its range of entertainment offerings from 4K video content to gaming.
In 2009, Sony established nine distinctives: play, listen, watch, learn, discover, communicate, create, and share. At last year’s CES, Sony focused on “Watch.” This year’s play theme is all about having fun through creating, consuming and playing new content.
Sony president Mike Fasulo spent quite a bit of time highlighting advances to 4K technology as part of its show. He added that he can’t stop talking about the resolution because it’s like “looking out a window.”
Netflix CEO Reed Hastings made an appearance during the event to highlight its 4K partnership with Sony. The video service plans to offer “Breaking Bad” in Ultra HD. 4K streaming on Netflix will work on 15Mbps connections.
Sony also took the wraps off a new 4K Handycam model that is smaller, more powerful and will cost just $2,000.
Core, a new wearable device coming this spring, will pair with a new Lifelog Android app for helping users track their activites.
Sony also announced two new handsets: the Xperia Z1 Compact and the Z1S, an exclusive for T-Mobile US.

The Trick Cover is the iPhone case I should have bought
Look at how bad-ass I would’ve looked with he Trick Cover for iPhone 6. Its a case, that looks and acts like a Butterfly Knife. Check the movie for a few awesome demos, and turn up the volume so you can enjoy the soundtrack:
(Un)fortunately I got the Mujjo case instead that replaces my wallet. Check my unboxing vine for a demo of that one (no soundtrack though).
