Nokia's much-rumoured Normandy Android smartphone can't stop getting leaked ahead of an official announcement. Just days after a prototype handset made an appearance on Twitter, new leaked screenshots show the most detailed look yet at Nokia's custom Android skin have arrived - bringing with it a potential date for an official reveal.
The screenshots, posted by notorious Twitter tech hound @evleaks , show a colourful interface separated into square icons - much like the Windows Phone 8 Live Tile UI seen on Nokia's Lumia handsets. If they prove accurate, there will also be a second view mode which organises your apps, notifications and reminders into a vertically scrolling list.
Importantly, the images also contain a date: Tuesday the 25th. The next one this year is conveniently in February, and coincides with the Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona. If these pictures are press shots rather than simply leaked screenshots, they could be hinting at an official reveal, although considering how big a shake-up moving to Android would be for Nokia, we aren't sure the company would spoil the surprise with early press invites or posters that completely give the game away.
We likely don't have long to wait to find out, as leaks are coming thick and fast: Visileaks posted this purported Normandy handset picture earlier this week.
Hopefully we'll learn how accurate this latest round of leaks is next month at Mobile World Congress, where Nokia will be in attendance.
