Effortless enhancement with PhotoLemur v2.2 Spectre

We live in a social age. Whether we like it or not, the experience is not enough anymore, recognition is the currency of this social age. We can’t just experience things, we have to record them, upload them, share them, and then pretend to not care about how many likes they get. These are facts on the ground in the 21 st century. Accordingly, we’re all taking photos 24/7 and uploading them to our numerous social media accounts.

Record, upload, and share is the baseline but those that are most adept at modern living add another crucial step. They record, upload, ENHANCE, and then share. After that, it is just a case of watching the likes come in rather than not caring about the fact that they don’t.

Enhancing is a pro stage though. You need to know what you’re doing, and time to do it, if you’re going to take an image that you’ve just snapped and enhance it, make it look even better than already is. You need time and skills if you’re going to edit your images and make them stand out from the crowd. Or do you?

PhotoLemur v2.2 Spectre, on both Mac and Windows, offers anybody who loves taking photos but doesn’t have the time to edit them, an excellent way to make that step up. PhotoLemur is possibly the easiest to use photo editor on the market because it does all the work for you. Without using a single preset PhotoLemur will enhance every single image you give it. Using advanced artificial intelligence algorithms, PhotoLemur analyzes each photo individually and then makes bespoke adjustments to each, based on the results of the analysis. The results are striking.

PhotoLemur only has one slider. There is no need to worry about contrast, lighting, shadows, etc. Instead, all of that is done automatically and the only slider you have to work with is the boost slider that appears once PhotoLemur has worked its magic. You’ll then have the option, if you like, to select how much of PhotoLemur’s boost you want to apply.

To make things even easier, PhotoLemur’s premium version can edit photos quickly, easily and, in huge batches. All you have to do is select all of the images you want enhancing and then drag them into the PhotoLemur app. If you’re using more than just your smartphone to take photos you don’t have to worry. PhotoLemur is able to handle RAW files from over 900 different camera models.

Of course, PhotoLemur is no replacement for Lightroom CC or other professional grade editing suites. You can’t add your own personal touch to your images once you’ve taken your images and the improvements won’t match the levels possible on expensive full spectrum photo editing suites. PhotoLemur knows this, however, and works seamlessly as part of more advanced workflows. There is a Lightroom PhotoLemur plugin and exported images can be saved as TIFF files for further editing in other photo editing programs.

For the rest of us, however, PhotoLemur offers us a quick and easy way to make sure our images really pop before we share them on social media or send them off to the printers. We now have a way to enhance our experiences even if we haven’t got the time or skill to do so ourselves.
